Malcolm Miller

Mistral Team - Malcolm MillerI have been fishing ever since I could hold a rod. My grand dad Stanley Brett had fished for over 40 years and he taught me on the rivers and lakes of Nottingham. When he passed away he left a hole in my heart that could only be filled with fishing.

I started to use Mistral a few years ago knowing the baits were up to catching carp, whilst helping me avoid nuisance fish. As I spend a few weeks each year at Lake Cassien in France the choice of bait is of utmost importance. The baits have certainly helped me catch big carp. In fact in a one week 2007 session I caught six 50's with many back up 20's, 30's and 40's too giving me the lake record. Not bad for wild fish that live in 1500 acres of water. All of these fish were on Mistral's No Name or Rosehip Isotonic boilies.

I don't only fish in France - most of my fishing is done in and around Nottingham. I regularly take my lad fishing and he is getting amongst big fish already. His best fish is a whacking barbel of 14lbs. Recently I caught what I term as the best fish of my career up to date - at a Notts lake I caught a record mirror of 41lbs - No Name does it again!
