I have been a keen angler for well over twenty years now, with I guess the last fifteen of those geared around the pursuit of carp. Much of my angling takes place in and around the Nene valley area where i live, although i am starting to look further afield searching for my next target fish.

For me it all started way back in the mid eighties at the age of seven fishing my local stretch of the Nene. Those early years learning and applying the art of watercraft on the rivers really was a great foundation for years to come, taking some fabulous specimen roach and chub in the process. Ever since i caught my first carp all those years ago i was hooked and never looked back.

In time my appetite for catching bigger carp grew which has seen me move from venue to venue catching larger fish along the way. I'm a passionate and consistantly successful carp angler who is always innovating and thinking outside the box to further my results.

I have been using Mistral's no name range for the last couple of years now with great success. From large low stocked gravel pits to tricky day ticket waters the no name always seems to do the business for me.
