I mainly fish for specimen carp but also enjoy fishing for smaller carp and catching lots of them.

Even though I have only been fishing for four years now I have met some fantastic people on the bank, and learnt so much from them. I can't get enough of the old school carpers knowledge and water craft. I like talking to kids my age and younger who are into carp fishing, as their new look and approach is fascinating to see and hear.

I enjoy specimen carp fishing because the results can be extremely rewarding. I like having multiple catches of big fish out of hard waters or catching a 40lb Carp out of Northamptonshire Gravel Pit which I feel is a life time achievement.

I treasure every second on the bank as I am constantly learning, watching the carp feeding and thinking I have sussed them out, then watching the same fish feed again and they feed completely different. Carp fishing is really fascinating, its always a challenge finding new ways to outwit the cleaver old carp.
