Charities, Sponsorship and Field Testing
Charities
We at Mistral get hundreds of requests per year for charitable donations. Due to the harsh realities of life we have decided that we can only afford to donate a certain amount each year and have chosen Stoney & Friends (Macmillan Nurses), Cancer Research UK and Help for Heroes.
We apologise that no further requests can be entertained but wish all of you fund raisers very good luck with your good causes.

Field Testers and Consultants
Many thanks for applying to join the Mistral Team. As you may expect, we get literally hundreds of such requests each year and obviously we could not offer sponsorship to more than just a few percentage of applicants. The team consists of anglers who can make a difference for us, it is not a vehicle for cheap bait. Any successful applicant would be scrutinised at the end of the year to see if his or her input has had any impact on promotion of the Mistral brand.
Our sponsorship application form will be scored on a points basis by one of our team. If at first you are not successful don't take this as a rebuff, please re apply in future years if your circumstances change. Please note that it is unlikely that applicants who have only fished for a couple of years and those who have never reported any worthwhile captures to the press will be successful. Before you apply please take this into consideration.
We aim to have scored every application form submitted within 3 weeks and we will email you to let you know if you have succeeded. If you are successful we will then invite you to the Mistral Baits factory for an interview.
All successful applicants will be offered a one year plus deal which ends at the end of the year following the year of application. Any applicants that leave before this time or otherwise breach what is a gentleman's agreement will be invoiced for the difference in price between what they paid and the trade price as advertised to the tackle trade.
All successful applicants will be required firstly to visit us at our premises in Northamptonshire before we open up a postal account for you. You will be required to write a small piece on facebook and or the forums about each session you have caught fish on – even if it was the smallest fish in the lake. You will be required to download photos of captures to 'Facebook' and send them to Carp Talk & other magazines. You will be encouraged to start to use a camcorder to promote Mistral on 'You Tube'. We may download these to the Mistral Baits web site too. If you are the type of person the magazines would like to feature, you will be expected to accommodate the journalists at a venue to be decided between yourselves.
The cost of baits to our team varies according to what they offer us.
If you are still keen please fill in the application form:
